Spiritual Activities

In addition to our Sunday services, we have a number of opportunities for our members and congregation to meet in Prayer and Bible study.

Vine Groups

These are our house groups, where smaller numbers of people share in Bible study in various homes in the local area. They run on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Tuesdays of the month, mostly starting at 7.30pm. Ask to find out where your nearest group meets.

Prayer meetings

We have prayer meetings on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Mondays and the1st Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm at the church. There are also other prayer meetings arranged at various times throughout the year. Keep an eye on the events diary to find out when they are.

Prayer Team

Barton Baptist Church has a dedicated prayer team, who are always available to pray with those in need. At least one member of the prayer team is always availableat the front of the church after services, for anyone to speak with in private.

Prayer Vine

Many people within the church are a part of this network allowing the speedy communication of matters for prayer. New situations for prayer are passed to the people at the top of the 'branches', who then pass them on by telephone and so on down the line, to get as many people as possible praying as soon as possible. Why not ask to be added to the list?
