As you can see, the various services and events taking place at Barton are not just limited to a Sunday.
There is something for everyone, and anyone is welcome!
Sunday Service: 10.30 am (we typically finish our services between 11.45 and midday)
- Communion Service:
- 1st Sunday every month will incude the children, their families and all the youth teams, and will be held earlier on in the service.
- Our aim is to demonstrate the all-embracing welcome of Christ at the Communion Table, and to allow the children to experience the powerful dynamic of 'tasting and seeing that the Lord is good.' We leave it to the parents/guardians to decide if they do not wish their children to partake, but as a Church, we invite everyone who is willing.
- 3rd Sunday every month.
- This is without the children and a variety of liturgies and approaches is used.
Mon-Wed: Various home groups meet together in the evening for friendship, prayer and Bible study. One group meets every Tuesday 2.30-4.30pm.
Last Thursday every month: Bible Overview study group.Great for beginners or those wanting something different.
First Saturday of every month: Messy Church (4-6 pm).
For Men - Alternate Monday mornings: A men's group meet together for friendship and discussion, with occasional guest speakers covering a wide range of topics and interests.
Every few months: We host a 'Theology Night' for those interested in deepening their Christian faith. No expertise or prior training required, just a passion for God!
