Holiday Clubs

Every other year, during the Summer holidays, usually in August, we run a holiday club on the church premises for both those children who already attend our Sunday Club or evening groups, and those in our local community who do not usually have contact with the church. They are for ages 5-11+. The purpose of the clubs is fun, outreach and more fun, and they are always themed and extremely silly!

In the past they have been on the theme of Ancient Egypt, pirates, the seaside, building sites and space. It is a week of games, crafts, videos and food, with a Biblical message to back the whole thing up.

This year's club was

The Kingdom Adventure

A Mediaeval-themed club with knights and damsels in distress, dragons, mermaids, three-headed dogs and unicorns. It was all based on 'The Armour of God' from Ephesians and featured many of the leaders wearing even sillier hats than during the G.O.D. Adventure, and some suits of armour too!
