The church's bi-monthly 'Grapevine' magazine contains details of many of the church activities past and future, as well as prayers, poems, editorials, stories, news from further afield, recipes, quizzes and jokes. Pick up a copy from the table upstairs on the landing.
The deadline for material to go in the next issue, to be given to Jim and Yvonne Wyper, is the 12th of September.
Some of our activities, including Men's Fellowship and Women Welcome Wednesdays, broke for the Summer in July - they will recommence in September.

Coming up...
We have called our new Pastor - Richard Matcham - read more on the Home page. Please pray for him and his family as he finishes his course and they prepare for the move to Torquay, and also pray for the church leadership as they make sure everything is ready for Richard's arrival.
Ordination and Induction of Richard Matcham
Saturday 2nd October at 3pm
A service to celebrate and give thanks to the Lord and to welcome Richard who will be Ordained and Inducted into the pastorate of Barton Baptist Church.
The service will be followed by a bring and share tea.
There will also be a gathering, open to all, on the Tuesday. |
